Summary[]
A Crawdad and Possum goes on a cross-country trip to New Orleans
Plot[]
The short begins in a small diner in the deep south, where two friends named Eustace (a Crawdad) and Mordechai (A Possum) are having both lunch and a lesson about gravity. Just then a costumer, who is still hungry and is broke, tried to eat Eustace. Luckily Eustace grabbed a Ketcup Bottle and smashed it on the guy. Tired of always being someone's meal, Eustace decide to leave the south and head toward New Orleans to check out a restaurant called "Abattoir's" where they apparently serve Crawdads like royalty.
After a couple of failed attempts to hitch a ride, Eustace and Mordechai used an inflatable doll to catch the attention of a trucker, who has taken a liking to the doll (thinking it's a real woman) and decides to marry it. Afterwards he decides to give the boys his truck for hooking him up with his wife and the two continue their journey.
After finally arriving at New Orleans, Eustace (in a fancy getup) arrived annnounced his presents, only to be knocked out as he wore up when a chef threw him in a pot of boiling water and thinks it's a hot tub. To his horror, he discovered that Abattoir doesn't serve Crawdads but rather serve them as meals for others, which resulted in him (and other Crawdads that he free) to escape. As Eustace is concerned by the chef and waiter, an inspector from the board of health arrived and told them that Crawdads are out of season and arrested them, just as Mordechai arrived to save Eustace, who informs him that he was already saved.
Back in the south, Eustace and Mordechai are seen playing checkers as it was revealed that they sold the truck and used the money to buy the diner, where they not only serve people but also serve crustaceans too.
